Natalie Borneo is a Charismatic values-based leader who is passionate about leading mission-based organizations to better serve their client base with maximum impact. With over 30 years of leading change in Corporate America, she has negotiated and designed products and processes for clients developed and trained new hires, implemented learning plans, and delivered training workshops for client service professionals.
Natalie understands the pros and cons of leadership styles, the importance of trust-based collaboration, and the effect of social styles on communication. As a certified John Maxwell Leadership Trainer Natalie has a strong reputation for leading diverse teams of professionals to collaborative success. She believes in the power of mentoring, coaching, and relationship building at all levels of a professional career and enjoys leading others through transformational change.
Natalie has a Certificate in Leading Change Management from Cornell University and is a graduate of the Institute for Nonprofit Practice's Core Certificate Program which brings diverse nonprofit leaders together to enhance their social impact skills for lasting organizational change. Natalie is a frequent keynote speaker, moderator, panelist, and workshop facilitator.
As the Senior Director of Program Operations at Dress for Success Worldwide, Natalie leads the strategy and development of operations for signature Dress for Success programs, ensuring alignment with the Dress for Success mission and goals as well as evolving public health guidelines. This role also includes recommending best practices to streamline performance, monitoring program performance to identify improvements, developing policies and procedures for greater impact, as well as interfacing with and cultivating new partnerships to ensure successful outcomes.
Community service, social justice, and equity are very important to Natalie, and she aligns her volunteerism along those lines. Natalie serves on the Board of the Girl Scouts of Nassau County and is a former chair of their Board Development Committee. She is a member of the Nassau County Minority Affairs Council on Long Island, working to improve the economic, employment, business, cultural opportunities, and other pertinent concerns of the minority residents of Nassau County. Natalie is a volunteer facilitator for Connecting the Dots Against Systematic Oppression and Racial Justice ~ a space for safe conversations.
Natalie obtained her master's degree in Management Studies from Fordham University and graduated from Howard University with a bachelor's degree in Insurance and Risk Management.
